How to unlink credit card from iTunes account in iOS

Having your iTunes account hacked, and consume your credit card money is a disaster! In order to prevent such thing from happening, I always use an insanely difficult to crack password, and to make my credit card safe, I always unlink my credit card after every purchase. Sure, that may be time consuming but I’d rather be safe than sorry.

We already thought you how to remove your credit card account info using iTunes. Now, what if you don’t have access to iTunes? No worries! you can still unlink your credit card using your iPhone, iPad, or

iPod Touch. Here’s how:

1. Open the Settings App.

2. Tap the Store icon.

3. Tap

Apple ID.

4. Choose “View Apple ID”, then tap “Payment Information”.

5. Just choose “None” in Payment Information Menu.

You won’t be able to buy an app or create a new subscription after unlinking your CC, to add your credit card just follow steps 1 to 4 then enter your credit card info.

If you don’t want to link and unlink your CC account when buying an app, I suggest that you use  iTunes Prepaid Cards, and have your account credit limited to a small amount.
