iPhone 3Gs Philippine Debut on July 31
On July 31, 2009, Globe Telecoms the only iPhone carrier in the philippines will launch the newest iPhone the “iPhone 3Gs”. Globe will be accepting reservations on July 15 (just right in time with most employees sallary) and according to some Globe employees it will be sold at sold at P38,850.00 16GB P45,250 for the 32GB.
Although it’s almost a month before the Official Realease, local iPhone fans already bought units for 43k 16GB and 49k 32Gb which is more expensive than the official carriers offer. Not bad for the guys who can afford.
IMO it’s better to buy iPhones with the official warranty from Globe and other authorized reseller than from the black/grey market, these iphones have new technologies to it which may or may not make the phone unstable, there’s has been reports of discoloration, over heating, and wi-fi problem with the new iphones and an Apple Care warranty would be the best protection.
