Top 5 iPhone 3GS Problems you should know.
Although as a Mac enthusiast the iPhone is still the best phone every Mac user could ever have and every new release is a must, sometimes iphone problems occur. Since the release of the new iPhone 3gs there are lot’s of reports of people having problems on their iphone and the top five of these are (arranged from least to highest).
- Cracking iPhone Housing - This is an increasing common problem, on MacRumors forum and Apple Discussion Board people are ranting about a hairline cracks developing on the new iphone which is more noticeable on the white version so if you’re planning to buy one go for the black.
- White iPhone Discoloration – A report by TUAW.com, this is due to a combination of Hot iPhone and a certain case. This is another problem of the white iphone, when you put it indite a non-heat resistant case chances are your iphone may get too hot and burn the case resulting to a ugly discoloration.
- Poor Wifi Connectiviry – People are reporting of having a poor wifi connectivity even having it near the router, and some have the same problem after jailbreaking their iphone (link).
- Over Heating Problem - Although apple released an advisory telling that user should use it at -20º and 45º C (-4º to 113º F) environment, it seems that over heating is common and due to CPU intensive applications, i had the same problem on my 1st Gen. iPhone, this is one limitation Apple should fix.
- Battery Life – According to LAtimes, iPhone owners grieves over its battery life, of course with the 3GS having more and more functionality battery life is the most crucial factor, more games and more apps are made by iphone developers making us so reliable to these Application, the more we use it the faster the battery life gets drained.
These are only the top 5, who knows what problem occurs next, as more and more functionality the iphone gets, the more issues it might have, the iPhone is not perfect, but backed with a responsive community of users and developers the iphone will still be at the Top of the competition.
