Ynzal to lose it’s Apple Accreditation

I just recieved an email from Ynzal Management stating that on July 28, 2008, they will no longer be an Apple Accredited Reseller.

According to Apple there had been some irregularities, leading to a conclusion that Ynzal Marketing has been involved in a “Fraud”, WTF! fraud? I’ve been a regular client of Ynzal, and all those years I never had a problem with them, oh wait.. there’s one.. which i rather not tell.. :) but otherwise Ynzal is good in my book compared to  other accredited distributer.

An ANC reporter trade off his old laptop for a display unit (open box macbook) at low price , without his knowledge that unit was from Microwarehouse (another authorized apple distributor), undergone several repairs and now considered fully working unit. After a month the unit malfunction and when the ANC guy asked for warranty YNZAL said that he might pay for some fee, he reported the incident to DTI, and after Apple made it’s investigation they concluded that Ynzal was involved in a fraud. Apple then replaced the ANC guys macbook with a new one and retracts accreditation to Ynzal. Ynzal stated that “We have immediately acted on the complaint and resolved the matter with the customer. Our own internal investigations reveal that we have mistakenly encoded a different serial number on our Sales Invoice resulting in a lot of confusion.”

There has been several speculations on this issue, this suggests that even the nicest Apple distributor gets kicked for a little mistake. Is this a proof that Apple is really into protecting it’s consumer? Did Apple just waited for a good reason to kick ynzal off? Did they hated ynzal for selling 1st Gen iPhones?

I just hope the truth will come out.. and Apple give Ynzal another chance..
