Today July 7, 2009 Another Software Update is Due, this time it involves iTunes, iMovie and Safari. This time it requires my Mac to restart which my iMac doesn’t really do, I just leave it on and sleep when it needs.
So here’s the update details.
iTunes 8.2.1 – iTunes 8.2 now supports iPhone or iPod touch with the iPhone 3.0 Software Update. iTunes 8.2 also includes many accessibility improvements and bug fixes while this update itunes 8.2.1 provides a number of important bug fixes and address an issue with verification of Apple devices.
iMovie Update - This Update improves overall stability and fixes a number of minor issues. The issues addressed include:
- Fixed a problem with incorect rotation when working with video created by iPhone 3GS
- Resolved instability when adding multiple beat markers in some languages.
- Corrected an issue where iMove could become unresponsive after using fine-tuning controls beyond the stabilized portion of a clip.
Safari 4.0.2 – The update is recomended to all Safari users and improves the stability of the Nitro Javascript engine (is this the equivalent of JIT engine in Firefox?) and includes the latest compatibility and security fixes.
