Checking your Macs Warranty info
Whether you’re buying a second hand Mac or you want to extend your Macs Warranty with Applecare Protection Plan you should check out Apple’s Online Service Assistant.
But before you visit the link make sure you have your product serial number you can get it by selecting “about this mac” on the apple menu and clicking version number text just below the Mac OS X text twice.
Now you’re ready to check your warranty info, you just need to fill up the form here
https://selfsolve.apple.com/GetWarranty.do with your serial number and country where the Mac is bought, in case you can’t see your country listed click on the “show complete country list” to reveal them all.

I’m glad to see that my mac is still covered up to September 09.
