Enable Infrared on Mac Pros
The Mac Pro unlike their Thinner sister and smaller brother the iMac and Mac Mini is the only Macintosh Lineup that doesn’t have a built in infrared receiver. BEing able to remotely control your Mac and turn it into a Media Center Device with Frontrow is every movie lover mac-heads necessity.
Although the Mac Pro is made for the heavy stuff mostly video editing, rendering and harsh tasks it’s always nice to lay back and watch movie on it while the rendering process is running at the background.
Twisted Melon with it’s debut product the Manta TR1 enables infrared on the macpro, you just need to plug it into your mac pros usb port and install the software that comes with it. Priced at 15.95 dollars around 760 Philippine Pesos this device this thing works on the Newest Mac Pros and even on the out dated ones like the G3, G4, and G5 Power PC Mac Pros.
