Mac OS X 10.5.8 Now Available
Today Apple released an update to the Mac, the 10.5.8. This update is recommended for all users running Leopard and includes general operating system fixes that enhances the stability, compatiility and security of your Mac, and fixes for three specific issues:
- this update fixes compatibility issues when joining Airport Networks.
- an issue that could create some monitor resolutions to no longer appear in the Display System Preferences.
- and issue that may affect bluetooth reliability.
Although I didn’t had any of these issues, updating is every Mac users chore. I bet this will not make your mac any faster like the Snow Leopard promises.

Also, I almost forgot that this updates includes GarageBand Update 5.1 ehich fixes issues on:
- GarageBand track effects and Audio Units can now be added to a guitar track
- Improved support for Apogee audio interfaces
- Faster switching to full screen in Magic GarageBand
- mproved access to audio monitoring settings
The updates are 156MB and 135MB respectively and will require you to restart your Mac.
Happy Updating…
