Apple 2009 Music Event Summary
Now the 999 Event was over (that 1 hours event feels like six hours) here’s a recap of Steve Jobs first keynote since his liver transplant. And before you think about video cameras, It will break your heart to read this post and find out that the iPod touch did not get that video camera upgrade. So I’d rather tell you earlier.
Here’s what the keynote is all about, packed together in a list.
- Steve Jobs Introduced iPod Touch and iPhone OS 3.1 with new features includes, Genius for Applications, Pre-made ringtones
- Apple improves iTunes 9 with sevaral new features, including family sharing, app management and more
- Featured several games like the upcoming Madden 2010, and other great games
- New Prices for the iPod Touch – $399 for 64GB, $299 for 32GB, and $199 for 8GB
- iPod touch can now run Open GL v2.0
- Apple announces iPod classic at 160GB – same thin sizse, same price ($249), can hold 40K songs
- New colours and iPod Shuffle Prices – $59/$79 in silver, pink, green blue….also a special edition stainless 4GB shuffle at $99.
- Apple Introduced New iPod Nano with built-in video camera and FM radio
- and NO VIDEO CAMERA on iPod Touch.

ohhh.. did you just hear Jobs’ said “cone more thing”, good to know the good ol’ CEO is back. He missed the “boom” though.
