iShowU Records Gameplay & Everything on Screen
Need to record your killer MMO (massive multiplayer online game) killer moves on your Mac? Or you want to teach Granma how to use a Mac. You need to use a screen recorder, my all time favorite is iShowU. It records everything on your screen, both audio and video.
iShowU HD Features

- Custom capture size - You can easily specify the size of the video you want to capture, woth it’s ‘see through’ video preview. You just drag the corners around to specify the size, and click enter.
- Pause / Resume – While recording you’ll be able to pause and then resume the capture at any time.
- Fixed / follow mouse modes - With iShowU you can capture rectangle (like a movie camera that tracks your mouse) to follow the mouse or capture just one area of the screen

I’ve often use iShowU, and it’s really easy and simple but if you want more features you can use it’s bigger badder sibling, iShowU HD and iShowU HD Pro.
You download both Apps and use it for free. The free one is a demo version, it only records 30 seconds you can purchase the App for $20 so you can use it without limits. At that price, this screen recording application for the Mac is worth the money.
