Magic Mouse threatens the Mighty Mouse
After watching G.I. Joe – Rise of Cobra, I decided to checkout apples website and Im surprised to see some new products from Apple. The one that catches my eye is the New Magic Mouse – the first multi-touch mouse. I knew this one will come but i never thought it would be this good looking, I thought it would have the same form as the mighty mouse but hey this one is a lot sleeker. It’s low profile seam less top looks a lot like a thin bar of soap, thanks Apple for removing that pesky scroll ball.
So what’s so special about this Magic Mouse?, Here’s a list of some awesome things Apple promises it can do (features).
- Seamless Multi-Touch Surface – Top area of the magic mouse is multi-touch enables and the whole mouse is a button.
- Laser Tracking Engine – It’s now more sensitive than ever enabling you to use it on virtually any surface with precision.
- Wireless – Imagining this thing with cord makes me puke, thanks the Gods at Apple of not making one. It connects up to 33 feet from the Mac and it now features an on/off switch which makes it even more power efficient compared to the Mighty Mouse.
I’m not sure about you but I’m ready to ditch the mighty mouse for this one. I just hope the new Magic Mouse will work as advertised. Right now it seems to threaten the Mighty Mouse and I think it will die very soon.
