Mac Users Should Quit Smoking
We all know that smoking is bad for your health but do you know that it’s also bad for your Apple Computer?. Two people have been void of their iMacs and Macbooks Extended warranty because second hand smoke contaminate their Macs and Apple Employees are not allowed to fix contaminated products that could threaten their health.
According to a report by Consumerist Nicotine is included in OSHA’s list of hazardous substance. This also includes calcium carbonate (found in calcium tablets), isopropyl alcohol, chlorine (used in swimming pools), hydrogen peroxide (also used to clean wounds), sucrose (a sugar), talc (as in powder), etc… as hazardous substances.
Apple should have at-least warned users that Macs contaminated your Mac with hazardous material will VOID your warranty. Now I should move my iMac somewhere else because right now it’s in my room and my wife’s powder which contains talk could contaminate it and void the extended Applecare I just bought. LAME LAME LAME!
