Apple Silently updates the Mac Pro and XServe
The iMacs have been so powerful, in fact powerful enough that most people will get the iMacs instead of getting a Mac Pro. However the Mac Pros still is the most powerful, and upgradable of all the Macs and after my experience with the early 2008 iMac I can say that the Mac Pros are also most reliable.
And earlier today Apple increased the speed of the Mac Pro implicitly but this only applies to the lower end quad core Mac Pros, you can now select for a faster 3.33 GHz Quad-Core Intel Xeon processors which is equipped 8 MB shared L3 cache, integrated memory controller, Hyper-Threading technology, and Turbo Boost of speed up to 3.6 GHz.
But it didn’t stopped there, Apple also made the option to have up to 8TB total storage capacity to the Mac Pro and 6TB to the XServe, they also made it cheaper to catch up with the cheaper price of hard drive nowadays.
