New iPod Nano and iPod Touch Dimensions
The guys at iLounge got their hands on the schematics laying out the new dimensions of the new iPod Nano and iPod Touch which are expected to be released on next week’s sept 9 event.
According to the dimensions, the new iPod Nano resembles the circulating rumors of a tall, skinny and curcy iPod Nano. According to the measurements, the new iPod Nanos are a bit taller and thinner than the 2nd gen Nanos, amking it the thinnest one yet.
While the iPod Touch will have a tapered design much like the new iPhone 3G. The new iPod Touch appears to be slightly thicker and taller than the previous one. It also have what appears to be like external volume controls which is absent on the previous models.
There are already cases on sale for the new iPod Nano and it looks like the cases match the design on these dimensions.
