iPhone OS 4.0 Features from a Reputable Source
BGR had a reputation of leaking out great information regarding Apple products that is yet to be announced, their sources are anonymous but is known to be very reliable and now they have exclusive information about the Features of the upcoming Apple iPhone OS 4.0.
- Multi-Touch Gesture Support OS-wide - they’re bringing the multi touch common to the macbooks
- New Multi Tasking Feature – Yes you got it right, you don’t need to jailbreak and install third-party application just to enable multi-taskting to the iPhone.
- New syncing ability for contacts and calendar applications – could this be over-the-air syncing through wi-fi?
- The update will be available only to the iPhone 3G and 3GS making the iPhone more like a advanced full-pledge computer – i hope this includes adding a removable media slot, the iPhone cannot act like a computer if it doesnt have a removable media slot. SDHC slot please.
- Better GUI (graphical user interface) for better and efficient OS navigation - could this be a new homescreen that is better than Googles Android?
Sounds like Apple is playing catch up, now they better come up with an Android Killer to once again lead the smart-phone market because honestly I’m so tempted to buy a Nexus One. Over-the-air syncing, multitasking and making the OS easier to use is great but it sounds the iPhone 4 will not have a front camera and a removable storage yet.
