iPhone 4 Coming This 2010 Will Feature 720p HD Video
The iPad as we all know is capable of playing 720p HD Video, and it seems like Apple is planning to add 720p HD video Playback to iPhone 4′s list of features. Although it’s not yet confirmed, iPhone developers who have been scouring the files for clues discovered that the MediaValidator.plist file (sdk file) reveals that the maximum video width is raised from 768 to 1280 making the iPhone 4 capable of playing 1280×720 video.
If the iPhone 4 will have a 5 megapixel camera then there’s no doubt that it will record and play 720p video, the only downside to this is that 720p requires bigger storage space, and a lot of processing power. Hopefully the iPhone 4 will have enough processor speed to play HD with ease.
Having 720p HD on the iPhone is good, but I don’t think that the movie watching experience will be better than the current iPhone, not unless they give the next iPhone more screen pixels and bigger screen.
