iTunes 8.0 comes with BSoD for some Vista Users
Apple has just launched the new version of iTunes 8.0 and already there are reports of problems from 32-bit and 64-bit Vita users. Vista users reports that they are getting the Blue Screen of Death whenever they plugged in their iPod or iPhone.
Some iTunes user said that after completely uninstalling the previous version of iTunes before installing iTunes 8.0 has resulted in no BSod issues for him somehow. And some also said that they are having some legacy issues with their printers, while some solved their problems by plugging their iPod or iPhone in a different port. One thing is clear though, the new iTunes 8.0 clearly have some bugs and lets hope that Apple do something about it.
There is one sure solution to this problem and that is downgrading back to iTune 7.7, some users say that after they downgraded back to the previous version, they no longer encounter the BSoD problem. [via Apple Forums]
