Here’s How to Get a Cheaper iPad
According to a report by Matt Philips of Market Beat (WSJ’s Market Segment), Apple aims to quickly lower the price of the iPad if the initial sale is terrible. That information was apparently arises after Credit Suisse’ meeting with Apple Officials. Credit Suisse’ Analyst Bill Shoppe quoted out:
While it remains to be seen how much traction the iPad gets initially, management noted that it will remain nimble (pricing could change if the company is not attracting as many customers as anticipated)
You can always have the cheaper deal if you could wait several months for the iPad’s second iteration or when the iPad got enough competition to force Apple and make it Cheaper. But with Apple willing to drop down the price if they didn’t sell enough iPad initially drives me to a conclusion that:
Every one should NOT buy an iPad to force Apple and make its price a whole lot cheap – in other words “initially boycott the iPad”
But with the iPad’s hype, I guess it’s easier said than done, but with the ill economy cheaper is always better.
