Case-mate introduces five new iPad cases

You may or may not agree with me about Case-mate’s ‘Hug’ but here’s some iPad cases that is worth looking at.

The most expensive amongst the five is the $80 US iPad Leather Folio which they call “The Walkabout” . Made in premium leather, this top opening case have magnets at the top flop to secure your iPad. Other than being the most expensive it’s also IMO the most elegent.

If you’re not into leather, “The Express” Nylon flop case could be an alternative. It’s as minimal as “the walkabout” but the ballistic nylon material making it water resistant. The side flap also have magnets so secure your iPad and at $34.99 , it is the cheapest iPad case from case-mate.

While the previous cases are made for the Minimalist, the iPad Gelli cases begs to be differ. This $39.99 iPad case is made from high performing, flexible, plastic-like material it protects your iPad from minor scratches and bumps. Case-mate claims that the Gelli Cases is lighter, softer and more resilient than silicone and ribber cases. Each cases have unique sporty pastern and available in colours such as Blue, Aurora, Green, Grey, Pink and Tomato.

The last two, both priced at $49.99 is the Traveler iPad felt folio leather case and the iPad Hybrid Tough Case. The later functions like the Gelli Case but is much tougher. It have a dual protective layer, a form-fitting silicone skin which hugs your iPad protecting it from impact. The second layer is the tough ABS plastic shell which provides maximum level of protection as it gives perfect grip.

And lastly  is “The Traveler”  which is a side opening felt case with leather accents. It have pockets for light storage and like the  ”Walkabout” and the “Express” the cover flap is secured by magnets.
