Features that the iPhone Needs to Keep Users Happy
There is no dount th Apple’s iPhone is loved by many because of its innovative touch screen, superb web browsing and Apple’s legendary ease of use. It is a first and is leading against its competitors in many ways, that is until the Android came. There are features that iPhone users would surely love to see on the iPhone to keep loving Apple and not switch to the Google Android. And if Apple doesn’t work quickly they may find the Android a worthy competitor.
Here is a list of some of features that iPhone users would surely love to get on their iPhone.
1. Cut and Paste – This feature has been requested by users for a long time and still, the iPhone doesn’t have it. It’s frustrating that you can’t do it, and it’s so obvious how it would work on the multi-touch screen – just tap and hold, then drag your finger over a block of text to select it. That functionality is currently reserved for the magnifying glass, but that could easily be shifted to a double-tap.
2. Shake to Shuffle – This feature appeared on the recent 4th Gen iPod nano, but we can’t see a reason why Apple won’t add it to the iPhone. We’d like to see the feature expanded a little to include other options, rather than just Shuffle, when you shake. Why not have some Shake options in Settings, from which you can choose different functions?
3. Better Camera with Flash – The iPhone only have a 2Megapixel camera, why not make it better? and Apple can also add flash to brighten up those dark dull indoor shots too.
4. Bigger Memory or Expandable Memory – Many people wants to store movies in their iPhone and 16GB of memory is just not enough anymore, the next iPhone should have at least a 32GB memory or even better if 64GB. It will also be nice if users can expand the memory with SD cards or something
5. Video Recording – I still don’t understand why the iPhone doesn’t have this feature, most phone today have it, why not the iPhone?
6. Picture Messaging – Another feature the iPhone doesn’t have, and I don’t know why. Why waste the great display on the iPhone when you can’t send some great pic of the places you’ve been to your friend’s iPhone.
7. Wider choice of Providers – Why would Apple lock their iPhone on certain providers? why not make it open to all so that users will have more to choose from, Apple will surely have better sales if they make it open to all providers.
8. Thinner or Smaller – Of course it will be thinner! Every new Apple iPod or iPhone has to be thinner than the last. It’s like the law in Apple.
9. More Customisation Options – Currently you can customise your iPhone’s splash screen (which Apple calls the wallpaper) with whatever photo you like, but you can’t alter the Home screen’s dull black background, or customise the icons in any way. This is never going to keep teenagers who are into Hello Kitty happy. We predict the next iPhone will enable you to apply themes to the Home screen, and even purchase (of course) and download new ones from the iTunes Store.
10. Stationery in Mail – Stationery should be available in Mail. Now you’ll be able to send HTML email bordered by pictures of cutesy kittens. Text-only email purists will hang their heads in disbelief, but Apple will be laughing all the way to the bank.
11. Video Call – Why the iPhone doesn’t have this is a big question. There are many phone out there who have front side cameras, why not the iPhone for video calls?
12. Call Logs – There are many users out there who wants to tack their phone calls, they wanted to have a call log so that they will have an idea how long they have been talking on their iPhones.
13. Change of sounds – Some users would also love to change some sounds on the iPhone. A ringtone may not be that big of a deal but it would surely be nice.
Well, here are some of the features that some if not most users wish to see in the next batch of iPhone. Let us jut hope that Apple is listening to its users request and will grant these wishes when they can.
