iBracket wall-mounts your iPad like an iFrame
GravitySwitch just released the iBracket, an iPad enclosure that also functions as wallmount and photo frame. You just need to slide in your iPad, hang it on your wall and boom there goes your $850 digital picture frame.
The iBracket measures 15 x 15 inch, weights 10.3 lbs, it can be mounted on your wall horizontally or vertically and the design lets you charge your iPad while inside the frame. The Gallery model includes built-in speakers positioned at the four corners of the frame. It come’s in 14 anodized aluminum colours and the standard model sells at $394 while the Gallery version is a bit expensive at $399.
GravitySwitch also noted that soon the iBracket will be available in wood and plastic finish. This iPad wall-mount looks fantastic and is perfect for the living room, office, or even museums. However the lack of wireless syncing over wi-fi will let you remove it from the wall once in a while which could suck in a museum/gallery settings.
