BlackPad/Cobalt is BlackBerry’s iPad Contender
Rumors has it that Samsung it to rival Apple’s iPad with their upcoming tablet gadget called sPad, it sounds like RIM is also preparing to enter the Tablet mash up with a new tablet device.
According to a Blackberry rumor site, based on a reliable blackberry insider, RIM is working on a tablet computer and it will be smaller and thinner than the iPad. The informer also confirmed that RIM’s tablet will be named “BlackPad”. Other sources also suggests that the tablet will be named Cobalt. I think the name “BlackPad” is more likely to be used. They also noted that it will not be out this year, but is likely to be released untile WES2011.
