Sony’s PIIQ Series Headphones are Stylish
Sony just introduced a new line of fashion headphones and they call it PIIQ. The series offers different style and design in eye catching colour combination and the line includes three over-the-ear and two in-ear headphones namely Marqii, Giiq, Triqii, Qlasp and Exhale.

Marqii, the highest-end headphone in the series features over the hear design and a large 40mm drivers. It comes with a detachable flat cord, a cushioned adjustable headband and only costs $99.99. Too bad the Marqii comes only in psychedelic black, grey and pink colour combination.

Giiq, an alternative to the Marqii features flex motion cups, slick skinned cord, padded headband and 30mm drivers. The design focuses on smooth detailing, it comes in toxic green/black, retro blue/green/white/brown, and modern black/white/pink/grey colour combinations and it costs only $49.00.

Triqii, the last over-the-ear headphone in the line is built tough. Aside from the usual stuff like slick cord, bass boost, and internal slider it offers a thick and impact resistant skin making it really tough. Priced at $29.99 the Triqii comes in yellow/black, pink/black, black and yellow/blue/green/pink colour combinations.

Qlasp, an in-ear headphones with hang clips to hook to your earlobes. It features 9mm drivers, soft ear-buds, costs $24.99 and comes in pink/black, green/black, girlie green/white/blue/pink, yellow/brown and clean white/black/grey colour combos.

And lastly the Exhale, it offers 13.55mm drivers, and bass boosting design. It comes in bold yellow/black, girlie pink/black, classic style black/brown/green and funky yellow/red/pink/blue colour combo and priced at $14.99.
With five different headphone types and plenty of different stylish colour combination there’s a Sony PIIQ for every fashion sense and every mood. However I’m not sure if these headphones are iPod/iPhone/iPad compatible since these doesn’t appear to have cable mounted remote controls.

Even if they dont have the cable mounted remote controls they will still work with the iPhone, iPod, and iPad. They have the right kind of audio jack and thats all that matters as far as compatibility.
Still it could have been great if it includes a cable mounted mic and control so you don’t have to put out your iDevice everytime your want to control your music.
