Microsoft’s Windows Live Messenger Hits the iPhone
If you still use Windows Live Messenger, then you’ll be glad to know that “the worlds largest IM network” is now officially available on the iPhone, iPad and iPod Touch. You would think, “With all your friends using Facebook and Twitter who still needs Windows Live?”.
Well you’ll be surprised to know that the iOS app doesn’t only function as a Windows Live Messenger and Yahoo Messenger Client, it also supports social networking site’s such as Facebook, MySpace, Flickr and Youtube. Sounds like they forgot to add twitter support as well. Aside from the usual, the app allows you to upload photos, add captions, create albums and share it with your friends. It also allows instant access to your Hotmail account so you can read, create or reply to emails and get notified of new email within the app itself.
The app is free and you can download it here.
