Apple Posts July 16 Press Conference Video and iPhone 4 Antenna Page
For those who are not invited to watch Apple’s July 16 Press Conference, and left no choice but to watch Reuters, CBS, Engadget and other live blogs. Good news! The video of the live coverage is now available steaming on Apple.com, you can now watch the event in low, medium, or high bandwidth via this link. Just make sure you have Quicktime Player installed.
Apple also make the iPhone 4 Antenna information page available for the rest of us. It aims to educate people about the signal issue by explaining the cause of the problem. The page tries to lighten the problem by showing that the issue also occurs on other smartphones including, BlackBerry Bold 9700, HTC Droid Eris, Samsung Omnia II and their own iPhone 3GS. The page provides a link to the testing lab page, that shows Apple’s commitment in developing the best antenna design, they even show off their $100 million Antenna test rig.
