Apple Releases iTunes 9.2.1 and iBooks 1.1.1

iTunes 9.2.1 for Mac and Windows is now ready for download. You can get it with your Mac’s software update utility or by clicking Help/Check for updates on the iTunes menu. You can also download iTunes 9.2.1 via this link. This software update fixes several issues including minor issues with dragging and dropping items, performance issue when first syncing to some devices with iTunes 9.2, problem upgrading to iOS 4 on an iPhone or iPod touch with encrypted back-ups, issues that improve stability and performance. In addition Apple also updates its eBook reading app  iBooks to 1.1.1. The updated version now allows you to view an image in higher resolution with a double tap, now supports books with audio and video content, you can now also view English word definition without the need to specify a language. iBooks 1.1.1 is available for the iPad and iPhone, now let us know if you seen significant performance improvement. improved PDF reading performance, fix problems about incomplete books download, and more stability & performance improvements.

    Yay is right! The iBooks update makes PDF viewing much more pleasant. I have all my textbooks on my iPad, so this is very welcome.
    Now all I need is multitasking. Come on 4.0!
