Apple Store Philippines Now Open!
Good news to all Filipino Mac lovers! Apple Store Philippines is now open.
Filipinos can now buy Mac or iPods directly from Apple Store Philippines. Filipino Mac Enthusiasts can now order online and have them delivered right at your doorsteps in just a few days. No need to convert the price to know how much those awesome gadgets from Apple will cost, all prices are already converted in peso.
One thing I notice though, looks like you still cannot order an iPhone 3G directly and the price is higher compared to an Apple Store. Example is that an iPod nano cost $149 in the Apple Store which should be about 7200.00php but in the Apple Store Philippines, it costs 9490.00php almost $50 more. I have no idea about the pricing details, shipping etc. but getting to order directly and having it delivered to the comforts of my home is definitely good news.

is there an apple store in the Philippines?
there’s no “Brick & Mortar” Apple Store in the Philippines, most sellers like Power Mac Center are authorized reseller.
Don’t buy any apple products from any apple reseller in Pinas. Not only they rip off their customers but their service is lousy.
If you have relatives, friends or know some people who travel overseas like hongkong or singapore (even better usa), ask them to buy it for you.
Any shop in Phils are just for your money but they have no clue whatsoever about customer service.
Look at our telcos in Phils, PLDT/SMART, GLobe, Bayantel, etc, these service provider companies are all useless and cannot be trusted to deliver world class service like they do in other countries.
These companies are only good in one thing: Steal from their customers. They can’t do any useful job except b**w jobs.

Please respond.
Thanks and more power!
There’s no Apple Store Philippines yet, but listed above are authorized distributors and resellers. They get stuff from Apple Singapore

Response:
In the US, you don’t pay exactly $149.00. Depending on what state you’re living, prices are subject to State Sales Taxes. For example, in California if the item is priced at $149.00, then you will have to pay an additional 8.75%. Therefore, I believe that the price posted in Pesos by Apple Store Philippines is just fair considering that each product, converted into pesos includes sales tax and other duties/customs fees.
hi. may i have the contact number and the exact address of the apple store in the philippines if u have apple store in makati much better. thank you. GOD BLESS US ALWAYS.
Hey there Ian, Although there’s already an Online Philippines Apple Store, there’s no official brick and mortar Apple store int the Philippines yet, all those listed above are authorized distributor.
You can use your browsers search function and search this page for the word makati. It will highlight all the Apple Stores within Makati City..
Hope that helps, thanks..
