Apple and AT&T Now Offers iPhone 3G Home Activation
Apple and AT&T have quietly brought back the home activation option for their potential customers. Before, it was necessary for people to go to an Apple or AT&T Store to activate their iPhones, but no more.
People can now buy the iPhone online, have it delivered at your home or office, and activate the phone via iTunes from the comfort of your computer. Sounds great right? but you can’t start celebrating just yet, because you’ll still have to provide your billing details and face an ETF if you don’t activate within a set period of time.
Currently, only new accounts and new line activations apply. People looking to upgrade your current equipment will still have to head down to a store. [Gadgetell via BGR]
