Globe Telecom GlobeCalls & GlobeServices App for the iPhone

If you’re an iPhone owner who happens to be a Globe scriber, then give yourself a favor my using these two apps developed by Globe Telecom, Inc.

First is the GlobeCalls App, it allows you to use Globe Telecoms promos and services by adding promo specific prefix to your contacts number , and sending in keywords automatically to register to a specific promo. All you have to do is choose a contact and it automatically adds the following prefixes:

• 232 – for SaktoCalls, 0.10 Php/sec calling monday to saturday, and 0.05 Php/sec on sundays
• 235 – 10 Php for three minutes calls
• 235 – 20 Php for 30 minutes calls

The App allows you to send GCash and Share-a-Load just by entering the desired amount and your pin. It will create an SMS with the right keyword and info and send it to the required number. No need to memorize service specific keywords and numbers. Other features includes IDD SaktoCalls, SuperIDD, tipIDD, 5Php to selected international mobile networks and turning roaming on and off.

Next is the Globe Services App for the iPhone, just like the iPad version it offers easy access to Globe Post Paid/Prepaid Promos and Services. This includes Accound Balance, PostPaid Offers (listed below), My Super Plan Offers, Load Tipid/Pre-Paid offers including supersurf, GCash  options which includes paying bills, sending Gcash, checking balance and registration. Other features includes International Roaming on and off, Globe Hotspots tracked and help menu which includes call customer support shortcut, and globe store locator.

• Super SURF – 30 days unlimited browsing for Php 1200.
• Super UNLI – 30 days unlimited globe-to-globe call and text for Php 499.
• Super ONE –  30 days unlimited call and text to one specific number for Php 150.
• DUO – 30 days unlimited DUO-to-DUO and DUO-landline calls for Php 395.
• Super DUO – 30 days DUO + unlimited Globe-to-Globe calls for Pho 499.
• Super TXT – unlimited SMS to Globe and TM for one month for only Php 299.
• UnliTXT All Day – unlimited SMS to Globe and TM for one day for only Php 20.
• UnliTXT 40 – unlimited SMS to Globe and TM for two days  for only Php 40.
• UnliTXT 80 – unlimited SMS to Globe and TM for five days for only Php 80.
• Super IDD – 30 days unlimited calls to US/Canada for Php 1,999.
• Super IDD 99 – 1 day unlimited calls to US/Canada for Php 99.
• ITXT 50 – 100 SMS to any international number for Php 50, valid for 10 days.
• ITXT 25 – 25 SMS to international numbers for Php 25, valid only for 5 days.

Both Apps works as specified and a must for Globe Subscribers, my only problem is none of these apps includes new promos with sms or calls to other networks yet.
