25 Years of Apple’s Mac
Last saturday, the 68k computer that kick-started the PC revolution, the original Apple Macintosh celebrated its 25th Anniversary. 25 years ago, Steve Jobs introduced the Macintosh at an event in the Flint Center for the Performing Arts to an audience of about 3000 people.

“There wasn’t a person in the room who didn’t think this was history happening,” recalled Richard Doherty, analyst with the Envisioneering Group, who was there.
TechRadar will also present milestones from the 25 years of the Mac. From the first ever Macintosh, now usually called the Macintosh 128k to the monstrous 8-core Mac Pro.
