17″ MacBook Pro Disassembled
The new 17″ MacBook Pros have just started to arrive in their new owners hands and the crew at iFixit is already dissecting their new 17″ MacBook Pro.

The new MacBook Pro with the Unibody design was just announced in the recent Macworld San Francisco and incorporates Apple’s new unibody design but with a non-removable battery.
iFixit has posted photos of each step they took when disassembling the MacBook. iFixIt’s photos show how to access the RAM and Hard Drive of the new machine which are considered user-serviceable items, while the battery is not. Battery Replacement will cost the user $179. [iFixit]
