Send Photos From Camera to iPhone/iPad with Eye-Fi Mobile X2

Eye-Fi just introduced the new Mobile X2  Wi-Fi enabled SDHC card that will allow users to send photos from a digital SLR directly to an iPhone, iPod Touch, or iPad. Photos can be then edited on-the -go and uploaded instantly to the internet on 3G enabled iOS device. Thanks to the new Direct Mode feature pre-loaded to the device which transfer photos directly to an iOS device using the free Eye-Fi companion app. Oder Eye-Fi  cards such as the 4GB Connext X2 can also be upgraded with Direct Mode, and automatic geo tagging, while its flagship model the PRO X2 is now more affordable at $99.

The 8GB Mobile X2 class 6 SDHC card which is capable of storing up to 4000 photos or 3 hours of video sells for $79, and will be available on Apple Store this 17th of May.

    Great info! I am trying this out this weekend. I need some assistants. I am printing on location and don’t want to truck my laptop (boy, I wish I had the Macbook Air).

    The printer I am using is a dye sub and I might use my Nikon D7000 or get a refurbish Nikon 3100.
