Plugy: A Nice Way to Protect Your Headphone Port

Some iPhone/iPod touch cases like SwitchEasy Colors comes with a plug that covers and protects the dock connector, and the 3.5mm headphone jack. However, those tiny plugs are easy to lose, so they provide two of each plug in every unit, but do you really keep those tiny covers? Now you can make sure that the headphone port is protected these  little tiny things called Plugy.

The Plugy – literaly just a plug to cover the headphone jack not only plugs itself in, but also makes your phone looks cute and nice. It comes in several forms including mushroom, winding spring, bolt, key, apple stem, and more. Made of ABS plastic, the $5 accessory looks like a standard 3.5mm jack allowing it to securely lock itself in, thus preventing other tiny particles from entering the port. The Plugy is currently available in Japan, and should be available worldwide this month.

Kids and kids-at-heart will definetely love these. The Plugy also works on other device with the 3.5mm port, this means it will also look nice on your on the Macbook, your car’s aux-in jack, and other electronics. If you’re worrying that your iPhone will disconnect the audio from the speakers, this device is made from non-conductive material so it’s likely that it wont happen.

Thanks Steve!
