PvZ 1.7 gets Retina support, Smurfs' Village 1.1.2 bring Magic Shrubs

Right after bringing Zen Garden, and a whole lot of stuff already available on the desktop version of the ever popular base defense game, Popcap recently released Plants vs Zombies 1.7. The new update brings high definition retina display support for crisper graphics on the iPhone 4 and 4th generation iPod Touch. Although not specified, according to its developer, the update fixes several bugs, and brings faster performance.

With the release of PvZ 1.7, Capcom also updates Smurf’s village to version 1.1.2. The updated version brings new “Plant All” upgrade to Farmer Smurf. Farner Smurf costs 25 smurfberries, and makes nearby plants worth more, which means more gold with every harvest. Additional updates includes none withering magic

Shrubs, 2 crop pack with 3 crops each, paid land expansion, level 37 & 38, and 3 farm themed decorative items.

PvZ sells for $2.99, while Smurfs Village remains free.
