LINE Camera is like Instagram on Steroids

Instagram is good, but there are times that you want to do more to your photos, and the app can’t do much to bring out your inner Picasso. Sure there’s iPhoto, Photoshop, and others, but most of these apps takes some practice, and costs a premium to use.

I recently discovered LINE Camera, and I must say it’s like Instagram on Steroids! It have that simple instragram interface, but with tons of effects, frames and stamps. I’m not talking about dozens but 700+ stamps, 100+ frame, 18 filters, 156 brushes and 100+ fonts! The app allows you to save your creation to your camera

roll so you can use it with other apps later or share it to various Social Networking Sites right within the app as it supports LINE messanger, Twitter, Facebook, weibo, mixi, cyworld, renren and me2day. The only thing it lacks is it’s own social network and it can easily take over Instagram for sure.

If you like the app, you’ll love to know that LINE Camera is totally free to use. No ads, not even in-app up sell offers. The only thing I miss on Instagram is the tilt shift effects, you can’t add linear or radial blur to focus on your subject  with LINE Camera. That can be easily added with a major app update though.

The app

will appeal more to the younger generations, and to those adults who simply love to make photos more interesting.
