Oncore’s just released a six-bay MacBook and iBook charger. The device is intended for use at educational institutions where MacBooks and iBooks are used. But it is also perfect for when we need to go in the field and liveblog an Apple event and have to have six batteries on us (that is if you have that many batteries).

The charger measures 11 inches by 7 inches and it can recharge six empty batteries in less than eight hours. It has a white design and low profile to complement the MacBook and iBook lines.

Features:

– 6 charging bays in 3 parallel channel pairs
– Automatic charge cycle with safety check
– Total 8 hours charge time for 6 fully discharged battery packs (1)
– LED status indicator for each bay

This six-bay battery charger cost $395 and thet also make the battery charger available in a “value power upgrade kit” that comes with six batteries.
