Sony SRS-V500IP: Mug holder iPod dock
This $340 iPhone/iPod dock by Sony is not a cup holder, that thing that looks like a mug is actually a 360 degree speaker. The SRS-V500IP is designed to sit on your cars cup holder and your backpack’s water holder. Also dubbed as the “Circle Sound Stage” the thermos tumbler looking speaker is available in pink, orange, and black. Compatible with the iPhone, and the iPods, it can also work with the iPad and the shuffle using a headphone jack.
Available at AudioCubes. The Sony SRS-V500IP somehow resemble like a men’s toy, if you know what i mean.

Griffin Announces its PartyDock Gaming Accessory for iOS
Griffin recently announced the first multi-player gaming accessory for the iPhone, iPod Touch and the iPad. PartyDock Media and Game dock allows multi-player gaming for up to four users, it connects to your HD TV so you can also play movies, videos and watch youtube on your big screen while charging your iDevice. PartyDock games such as “Midway Motors,” “Fishing Frenzy,” “Flippin’ Frogs,” and “Wits and Wagers Family,” are available at the iTunes Store, but the dock itself comes with three free mini-games and one full game. September 1 Apple Event: New iPods, Garage Band for the iPad?
Apple just sent email invitation to the press of a special music event that will be held in San Francisco and will start at 10am Pacific Time. The invitation shows an acoustic guitar with a hole shaped like the Apple logo, which means the event will entirely be music related which points out to a new iPods (touch screen iPod Nano?, new Shuffle replacement?), or could also suggest that Apple will introduce Garage Band for the iPad and iPhones.
